Jessica is a junior from Brownsburg, Indiana majoring in International Studies, Linguistics, and Spanish and minoring in Educational Studies. This is her first term as a member of Congress. She is passionate about transparency with IUSG's budgets and money and activism for marginalized populations within the student body. She is interested in writing a proclamation declaring IUSG's support for the Burmese student population at IU in light of the recent coup in Myanmar. Outside of Congress, she is the Director of External Relations for Hoosier Scholar Ambassadors, Treasurer and Social Committee Member for the Independent Council for Women, involved with the Global Leaders and Professionals Program, and training to be a peer-writing tutor through the Writing Tutorial Services.
